Founded in 2009 by Sebastian Cowen to promote Montreal's DIY arts scene after the shutdown of Lab Synthèse — the legendary Mile End warehouse venue which was also founded by Sebastian Cowen — Arbutus Records roster is filled with multi-disciplinary artists who's work dabble in a variety of mediums.
