One of the best things an artist can do — in any medium, really — is commit to the bit. Czarface committed to the bit. For their 8th album in as many years, they REALLY committed to the bit, so much so that their RSD exclusive release Czar Noir is packaged with a comic book to pay homage to the Power Records Comic/Records sets of the 70s. In fact, the commitment is so strong that the cover art is in itself an homage to the eight issue of Marvel Comic's Secret Wars series, the same issue where Spiderman first receives the black symbiote suit that would later play a central role in the third (read: worst) Toby McGuire Spiderman™ film, and then AGAIN, in that Tom Hardy one from a few summers ago, that, frankly, wasn't very good either if we're being honest with each other. THAT, people, is commitment to the bit.
