The Bonobo is a great ape found primarily in Central Africa that is commonly mistaken for the similar-looking chimpanzee but distinguishes itself in its much more laid back behaviour. British electronic producer Bonobo looks nothing like a chimpanzee but sets himself apart from other producers with his relentlessly laib-back sound that has seldom ventured outside the zone of str8 chillin’ in his two decade career. Fragments keeps Bonobo in this groove, with assists from fellow perennially relaxed artists like Jamila Woods, Jordan Rakei and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson ensuring the album keeps with the mood of watching the sunset on a warm evening or while trying to pretend it’s a warm evening.
