With summer ending and fall rapidly approaching the mood in the air is of reflection. The days are getting shorter, plaids are getting broken out and harmony-drenched folk-pop has never sounded better. If there is a single word that could be used to adequately describe Yellow House by Grizzly Bear album it would be 'rustic.' It is perhaps the ultimate autumn album. Recorded in a summer home in Cape Cod, this mood of domesticity is reflected in the music as Yellow House gives off an aura of warmth and comfort, like an old sweater that you’ve worn for years and manages to still stay comfy.
