If Kool Keith invented the comically villainous rap persona, MF DOOM perfected, evolved and transcended the idea. There's a reason he's sold the most action figures in hip hop. And is there anything more quintessentially comic-book than returning from the grave to team up with a fellow anti-hero? While all the Czarface joint projects have been successful — Tony Starks, anybody? — it's the propulsive, endearingly absurd escapades they took up with DOOM on their previous LP where it felt like Czarface really hit its stride. If you're set on world domination, it's good practice to enlist the help of someone who already conquered it.
