Big Brother
2xLP
Every generation gets the Tusk it deserves. Holed up in a studio in rural England with enough money and drugs present to keep ten Haçienda's running for decades, Oasis made their most grandiose, supersized statement in a career filled with them. Every guitar track is filled with more overdubs than most shoegaze bands have in their entire careers and the choruses are so tailor made for sing-alongs that they could have been co-written by a group of soccer hooligans. While this album has long been overshadowed by the long-standing behind the scenes acrimony and debauchery of the Gallagher brothers, it’s a worthy addition to any Oasis fans collection.
