Turnstile is known for going really hard. They make the kind of high adrenaline cannonball-paced music that has soundtracked countless workouts and caused even more nosebleeds in mosh pits in cities across the world. For their new album Glow On, the band has partnered with producer-extraordinaire Mike Elizondo, whose resume has everything from Fiona Apple's Extraordinary Machine to 50 Cent’s “In Da Club," and who's instrumentation added a host of new dynamics. But make no mistake, Elizondo's input does not belie Turnstile still going really, really hard. They just go really, really, really hard in a way that showcases how great of songwriters they are. This is an album that you can listen to while you punch a hole in your drywall and again the next day while you patch up the hole in your wall and reflect on your actions.
