We could envision the music on Cold As Weiss being played in a roller disco, or a bowling alley, somewhere with rotating neon lights, beer on tap filled with shaking hips and pants that flair out at the cuff. This is, of course, among the highest compliments one can give. The title refers to Dan Weiss, the trio's new drummer, formerly of the Saxtones, another preternaturally funky band you should definitely check out. CAW sounds like it was transported to 2021 in a drop-top Delorean on spinning 22s with purple velvet interior. That's an even higher compliment. Buy some bellbottoms.
