You're Under Arrest is commonly, maybe reductively, remembered as the album where Miles Davis covers Cyndi Lauper. What is should be remembered for is the uncredited vocals by Sting on the first song, who was asked by Davis to translate the Miranda warning to French and yell it as a backing track. That's what it should be remembered for. We should all be so lucky as to be remembered for something so profound.
